Lugdunum_RICXXB.jpg
Lugdunum_RIC-This one corresponds to the aureus RIC64, but is not known to Sutherland.jmuona
RIC121_LugundumB.jpg
Lugdunum_RIC1213,17 gr., max 18 mm, die-axis 4. Although anonymous, this is certainly a pro-Vitellian type. The mint is an educated guess. The RIC number refers to "Civil War" coins, not Vitellius.1 commentsjmuona

Rome_Germ_RIC107This coin was cut for metal enrichment studies like the one in the Galba gallery.jmuona
Lugundum_RIC-B~0.jpg
Tarraco_Ric-BThis coin is close to being the denarius version of the aureus RIC1. The obverse legend is closer to type 2c, however. Again, not significant in my view and most likely struck with the same die as an aureus. This is one of those coins I just could not afford to keep. It was wonderful to observe that the new owner was from Spain. It went home.jmuona

RIC37_TarracoB~0.jpg
Tarraco_RIC373,35 gr., max 19 mm, die-axis 6.jmuona
RIC6_TarracoB.jpg
Tarraco_RIC63,32 gr., max 18 mm, die-axis 6. Strictly speaking this is not included in RIC, as the obverse legend is of RIC type 2b, not 2a. However, as this is only a question of the gap between the words VITELLIUS and IMP, I regard it as only a die variant.jmuona
