Rev: SC within circle within laurel-wreath of eight leaves. Ref: RPC 4264. Axis: 360° (?). Weight: 13.88 g. CM: X in square punch, 4 mm. Howgego 729ii (51 pcs). Note: Countermark of the 10th legion Fretensis. May have been applied in connection with Trajan's Parthian campaign, although may just as well have been applied over a period of time. Since no countermarked coins are later than the reign of Domitian, likely the countermark was applied before the reign of Hadrian. Collection Automan.
