Thank you! I am humbled by this
honor. Congratulations to all the nominees, with kudos to our contest organizers to and our host, Joe.
An honorable mention is due to Jochen and maridvnvm (I voted for both of you!), with maridvnvm putting in a late charge in the final days of voting.
I appreciate your kind thoughts and feedback. Let me acknowledge the comments in the galleries...
Pharsalos, Jay GT4, Enodia, Tracy Aiello, and
quadrans were ever-present. Mark R1,
Robert L3, Jochen, cicerokid, Grant H,
okidoki, shanxi, Nemonater, Blindado, Stkp, RL, Molinari (especially for the bull-themes!), Leo, Serendipity, Virgil H, Brennon, Steven M1,
Christian Scarlioli, Norbert, Ken W2, Ron C2, Dan S II, Callimachus, St. George
Collection, *Alex, v-drome, wileyc, Serendipity, n.igma and others shared their inspiring and informative comments.
Without
Pharsalos I would have missed the legacy of the Benito
Collection hosted by FAC and another, obscure pedegree.
I gained updated chronology and references on my coins of Tarentum from Enodia, who kindly shared
his time and knowledge.
FAC is where I came in 2019 to find a dedicated numismatic audience that another photo site could not offer.
Here is where I learned my references (the Discussion Boards,
Library, and
Numiswiki helped immensely), bought coins and books, and powered-up my photography. In turn, I shared my comments, knowledge and references.
There is
still work undone: I need to
catalog, photograph, and upload my ancient artifacts.
Keep on posting!
Cheers~
Chris
