ę II 9,07 g. Leningrad. Nur 3 Blätter an der Unterseite der Epheuranke. 21 mm.
Hill S. 152 Anm. 1; Bertier n. 139 gibt nach seinen 5 Stück einen Durchschnitt von 8,51 g., doch müßten seine Exemplare nachgeprüft werden, da auch die Falsa etwa diesen Fuß haben, vgl. oben S. 33 Anm. 2), der als der attische zu gelten hat;

Leningrad. Only 3 leaves on the underside of the epheurine. 21 mm.
The following specimen o, like o and v, has only three leaves on the underside of the epheurial vine, the pieces measure only 21-22.5 mm. Metrologically they are special because of the foot, which deviates by almost 1/2 g. from the Panticapaean coin foot, which leads to about 9 g for the
stater (
cf. Hill p. 152 note 1; Bertier n. 139 gives an
average of 8.51 g. according to
his 5 pieces), but
his specimens would have to be checked, since the falsa also have approximately this foot,
cf. p. 33 note 2 above), which is to be regarded as the Attic one; one would have to assume that a secret mark of the
mint is
applied to these pieces in order to recognize these lighter pieces immediately (for which the more recent coinage is not without example,
cf. Marsson, Z. f. N. 40 P. 129), but it cannot be the trifolium of the leaves, since it also recurs on dies g and v:
