Oh that is the great, long established wonderful AERIA site.  The library of 19th-century photographs and dozens of other things, including the university museum collection, if you want to see what a university museum ought to be like, are worth many hours of looking and studying, over and over again.  Don't be put off by its being in German; their English version is very good.  And their standards of documentation (who took the photograph, when, what is its negative number, etc.) are exemplary.  Pat Lawrence
