Small square weight

I am not sure if this is a weight, a clipped coin or any thing , it is 8x8mm and 0.48 grams. Any help is greatly appreciated.

"looks" like a weight, at a guess the weight is close to obol of 0.57 but really its tough. Why do you think its a coin?

It is too small to see details and the sand patina is too thick but the surface is not 100% flat!!!
