A great coin.  Not only are the portraits in Ephesian style but Victory also has it.  I love these eastern mint coins.

Thanks Jay! Yea, those Eastern Flavian denarii are quite special. Some very talented engravers were working on these coins!

A wonderful Coin David. One of my favorite coins is my Ephesian Vespasian denarius. I love the portrait style.

Thanks Joe and Andrew for the kind words. The Ephesian denarii are certainly one of the more pleasurable series in all of Flavian coinage.

Nice coin David. I just acquired 2 amazing Flavian eastern (Antioch or Syrian) coins. I specially like the Vespasian one. The Titus one is interesting as it is dynastic coin with Vespasian deified posthumously.
