ID Help - A lead coin
« on: January 04, 2024, 10:46:54 am »
Here is a lead coin that I would like to learn its origin. Seems like there is a bird (probably a flamingo) on the obverse and the reverse is just blank.

5.15g and 22mm.

Thanks in advance.

Not a coin, but rather a cap, if it is real, from an old remedy salve.  I seem to remember it was called Theric, but I may have misspelled it.  It looks like a modern cast of such a salve.  The best varieties came from Venice.
