Judea Capta

Hi All,

This one I find in forest close to Jerusalem together with number of Alexander (Jehonatan) prutot. Is it relatively rear coin? I'm looking at this site and wondering whether it is the real price. By my estimation this Judea Capta of Titus from Caesarea supposed to be more close to 150$ than to 1500$.
Which estimation is more real?
(I don't mean to sell it but it is interesting to know)

Thanks,
Explorer

Hendin list this coin for $100US for fine.  Yours is at least a grade below fine, so maybe $30 to $40.

As for Barakat Gallery, it is way over price, but what would you expect for someone that sells coins in Hollywood.

Lol....so true. I have seen an example in a bit better condition than the Barakat one sell for around $250.

Not a big fan of their pricing scheme.

There was quite a range of issues celebrating the Roman victory. One of these days I'll doubtless get round to collecting them!
