Moushmov (without illustration or legends or diameter) cites a reverse as "temple with 8 columns" for Thessalonica.  Might be yours!  Moushmov 6828.

Looks like obv. die V23, rev. die R115, a new die combination, in Touratsoglou, Muenzstaette von Thessaloniki, pl. 39.
Below temple in PVThI/A, in reference to games at Thessalonika that were of the Pythian variety.

Thanks a lot, Curtis. For my modest collection this should be quite a valuable addendum. Do you think that it is worth to put it for a couple
of days in the olive oil (as I did already) to clean it a bit more?
