« on: April 08, 2018, 08:04:39 pm »
Anyone have a reference for this coin.

OBV: confronting busts of Elagabalus and Julia Soaemias
REV: Asklepios feeding snake from patera

28 mm, 11.81 gms

I can't find it in Hristova-Jekov, Varbanov, acsearch, RPC Online.  Unpublished?  Thanks for any help.

My specialty collection of Elagabalus and Soaemias at Marcianopolis includes two specimens from that die pair.

This is a scarce portrait combination, occurring on only four obverse dies.

Just noticed: I meant Hygeia of course, not Asklepios.
