That's indeed a fascinating thing.
In 2021 Miski published an article about his results: https://www.mdpi.com/2223-7747/10/1/102
and here you can find an overview of the state of the research from 2022: https://www.mdpi.com/2571-9408/5/2/51

But in fact we cannot be sure that it is really the ancient Silphion what Miski discovered  :-\.
