Id help.
« on: September 29, 2006, 10:32:39 am »
Dear Forum,

I need some help on this coin. It is from some uncleans. At first I thought it was a Justin II, but it does not seem to be right when I look at the other Justin II`s in my collection. It has been stamped on top of another coin that has been cut in two, and the ANNO is on the wrong side. It has XX on the lower left, reverse...that is rusty and did not show up in the photo.....My old camera went bad, and I am fighting a new one, trying to learn over again how to get good sharp pictures.

Thank you,
bob

Looks like a Heraclius overstruck on an earlier chipped coin or even an Arab imitation.
