« on: February 29, 2024, 01:01:38 pm »
Hello everyone! I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out what coin this is and its value but I can only find coins (Claudius Billon Tetradrachm) for example but not the same one. It is a very old gift from my Grandpa whom passed away 15 years ago and I want to ask if anyone here has any furture knowlage about it!

Any help is much aprechiated!  ;D

It looks like a fake of a tetradrachm of Alexander III the Great  :(.
The genuine ones are made of silver: http://numismatics.org/pella/id/price.1179?lang=en
this type does not exist in copper or bronze.

Indeed, a fakeCast, not struck.  Wrong metal.
