Perfect Decius Portrait

Hello,

today I received this wonderful Double Sestertius of Trajanus Decius.

Obv. IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right.
Rev. FELICITAS SAECVLI S C, Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus and cornucopiae.
Mint: Rome, 250 A.D.

That is an outstanding example of Roman portraiture, well centered with crystal clear legends. A true collector’s item, in fact I’m confident most of us would rate the condition of the obverse portrait as no less than EF. It is the kind of image a historian would like to use as an illustration of this emperor in a book about the period. I am very seriously and deeply envious…. Well caught my friend.
