The Chertsey tiles
« on: January 25, 2023, 02:41:22 am »
The medieval Chertsey Tiles have been partly restored and reconstructed.  These are figural ceramic tiles were made around 1250 AD. They were unearthed at Chertsey Abbey in England in a fragmentary state some time ago, with reconstruction starting in the 1970's.
