ID Help : Indian coin?
« on: June 30, 2013, 04:11:37 pm »
I've looked through hundreds of coins trying to narrow this down. I'm not making much progress since I cannot read anything on the coin. If you could point me in the right direction, it would be most appreciated!

Hi

Indian states, Kuchuwan (feudatory of Jodhpur), in name of Shah Alam II (1759-1806), rupee, 1203 H [just below centre on obverse, right image], year 31 (1789) [bottom of reverse, left image], KM C 17

Best wishes

Alan
