Another weird barb!
« on: October 17, 2005, 07:12:57 am »
Hi all,
Another strange barb which I'm waiting to receive. Quite steep in price but one I felt I couldn't allow to get away. The Roma obverse faces right not left - this is uncommon although I have come across quite a few specimens over the years. More interestingly, the die-engraver has confused the legend with one appropriate for either Constantine I or Constantine II - note the ...INVS... in the legend. Anyway, enjoy.
Regards,
Adrianus
