#2 Dervish
khan 1556-1578 . The
Khan of Uzbek dinasty called Shaybanids.
History is next:
Darveshkhan (Darvesh
sultan) (? —December 1578) - Governor of Tashkent and Turkestan (1556-1578). The Shaibani are a representative of the Uzbek dynasty. Descendants of Mirzo Ulugbek and Suyunchkhojahan. The eldest son of Barakkhan (Navruz Ahmadkhan). Together with
his brother Bobo
Sultan, he fought wars against Iskandarkhan and Abdullah II, the rulers of the Bukhara Khanate, in order to rule Movarounnahr. In particular, in 1557 he fought against Abdullah II in Ilonotti district. In it, Abdullah II, who rushed to the aid of Darvishkhan, prevented the sultan's army from uniting with Darvashkhan and defeated them separately. After this defeat, Darvishkhan was in
alliance with Abdullah II for some time, including during Abdullah II's march to Khorasan (1567), when Darwish
Khan sent
his brother Tahir
Sultan with a large army. However, Baba continued to fight against
Sultan Abdullah II, who revolted in Tashkent in the
winter of 1578 and killed Darvishkhan. Upon learning of this, Abdullah II marched on Tashkent under the pretext of taking revenge on Darvishkhan, and in the Battle of Chirchik (April 18, 1579) he defeated Bobo Sultan's army. Bobo
Sultan fled to Turkestan.
