Geta Provincial
« on: May 27, 2009, 05:42:41 am »
Hey guys I know this is quite low quality but I've had it for years and never found out what it is. I thought it was from Nicopolis Ad istrum but I have no idea if I'm right.

It's 3.65g and 16mm.

Thanks in advance guys.

I can read [OVLPIAC] PAUTALIAC on the reverse, so from Pautalia, Thrace.
Reverse shows Asklepios.

Andreas

Here's a similar one:

Pautalia , Geta AE 18

OBVERSE: Draped bust right

REVERSE: Aesklepios standing holding serpent entwined staff

18mm - 4.1 grams
