Group of Orodes II Drachms

These seven drachms were just listed, individually, [REMOVED BY ADMIN].  Remarkably similar detailing and wear throughout the bunch here. [REMOVED BY ADMIN]

Could it just be a damaged die, and these all found together as part of the same hoard?  Or are you suggesting a transfer die that was altered a bit on several of these.

I don't know (with regard to method of manufacture), Nick, but the similar details - crescent, lettering, and such - across seven coins listed simultaneously - and by a dealer with some notoriety - is enough to warrant some concern, at least for me.  I have spotted occasional Parthian die matches in the past, across dealers' listings and auction catalogs.  However, I've never, ever, seen this many Parthians with such striking similarities sold as a group.  I would certainly not touch them.

Discussion here should be about the coins, not the seller or the venue.
