unknown ID help please (Nabataean Kingdom??)
« on: March 18, 2008, 10:21:25 pm »
Evening all,
I believe this coin is from the Nabataean Kingdom, but I really ahve no clue or resource other than matching similar coin against catalogs etc. This was in a recent uncleaned lot that was all over the board but all from the middle east. (at first I thought it was an m&m with a big chunky crusty, but after scraping it down it turned out to be a pretty good looking coin, albiet still with a big crusty. I have been working it down for a couple of weeks now and it is almost done, but I couldnt wait any longer to post it here for ID!!)

16mm 3.40g

As usual, any and all help is much appreciated!
