What Constitutes an Islamic Figural Coin.

I enjoy collecting Islamic issues with human and animal designs.  I was thinking what is academically considered a Islamic figural coin i.e., does it include all living creatures?   While my first coin - a Ayyubid of Salahuddin I, seated figure type from Mardin mint is clearly a figural issue, is my second coin  an Ilkhanid fals of  Uljaytu / Öljaitü with the lion one too?   Pogh_poor
