I can only provide my similar coin of this son:

Side in Pamphylia, Gallienus,
Æ31 / 11 Assaria (29-31mm / 13.19 g), 254-268 AD.,
Obv.: AYT KAI ΠO ΛI ΓAΛΛIHNOC CE , laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind, in field r. value mark IA (11 Assaria).
Rev.: CIΔHTΩN - NЄΩKORΩN , price crown with two palm branches on tripod.

ANS 1953.171.940 (http://www.numismatics.org/lookup.cgi?string=1953.171.940 ).

I found no similar Valerian issue in the ANS database.

Thank you, Arminius!  It is interesting to note the same kind of weakness at the center of the coin as shown by that of his pater.  Geo. S.

For shure!
Many of these issues of the Valerian family had been countermarked Є (value mark 5 ).
(eg. see my Salonina and Valerian II from Side).
