False Heleny z Antiochii (old fakes still alive)

W związku z pewną atrybucją chciałem sobie odświeżyć stylistykę monet Heleny z Antiochii i przy okazji zauważylem, że stare fałsy mają się dobrze, choć zidentyfikowane je już przeszło trzydzieści lat temu. Co można sprawdzić także w Fake Coin Reports

Fals nr 1

Prócz dwóch egzemplarzy falsa nr 2 (zdjęcia 1 i 2) w załączniku na dole, znalazłem także innego znanego falsa (zdjęcie 3 na dole), który ma wspólny rewers z falsem nr 1.

Ciekawostką jest fakt nieznanej (przynajmniej dla mnie) hybrydy falsa nr 1 (awers) i falsa nr 2 (rewers) - zdjęcie nr 4 na dole.

Zresztą fałszerzowi (falszerzom) zdarzały się jeszcze ciekawsze hybrydy. Ponieważ są to typy formalnie nienotowane w RIC, można je znaleźć na mojej stronie:

Looking at the auction archive on biddr, there were ten bids. The winner paid EUR 35 + auction fees for this rare coin :-)
