Maximinus II Daia

This is the last of the three follis coins that I would like an opinion on. Is it a fake?

I cannot resolve the reverse legend in Van Meter or on Wildwinds.

Maximinus II Daia
AE Follis, 22mm diameter
obs: IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMINVS PF AVG
rev: GENIO EXERCITVS

rgds,

Ken.

Looks perfectly good.  It should be RIC VI, Antioch, 147c.

A lovely obverse in good style let down by a poorer reverse. A genuine ancient coin.

Many thanks for the information and your opinions.

I am much heartened that the 3 follis coins are genuine. I did have my doubts.

That's all for now.

Rgds,

Ken.
