Domitian denarius
« on: February 04, 2008, 08:04:50 am »
Hello all, this coin has a hard life, was polished, filed on the edge (for about 3/4 of the circumference) and holed by a jeweller. Is still a beautiful coin, do you see any sign of being a fake? Something else than the filed edge and polishing.

It's hard for me to tell based on the photograph...the lighting is really playing hell with the coin.

The style looks fine.
