suspicious mid 3rd century Moesia Superior
« on: August 21, 2023, 12:47:15 pm »
Sorry-I am not equipped to take good photos. This coin looks suspicious to me due to the soft details, high uniformity of the wear, rather than more wear on the high areas as expected, and a thicker than normal flan for this period. I have had the coin for over 30 years. It looks cast from a corroded original. Do others share my suspicion?
