Salt and "salty" metrology of ancient Italy
« on: March 01, 2024, 05:27:49 am »
Dear Colleagues,

I'm looking for any papers about salt extraction, trade and metrology used for this purpose, in the territory of ancient Apeninne peninsula: Latium, Magna Greacia, Etruria etc. Especially in BCE.

I'll be grateful if anybody knows any researches in this topic and share knowledge with me  :)

Thank you, and looking for more :)

I'm especially interested in trading of salt, and metrology used to it.
