Incorporating a "Like" Button
« on: July 29, 2016, 08:10:24 pm »
I think we should incorporate a "Like" button on the boards.  I know we have the thumbs-up, but sometimes I just want to indicate that I like a post without posting a reply and filling up the boards.  This will help newer members participate too.  Sometimes newcomers are intimidated and don't want to post, so this is a nice way for them to be active.  And sometimes I really have nothing to add but want to encourage someone to keep posting, which I think the "Like" feature accomplishes.

What do others think? Joe, I'm sure you've considered this before?  Maybe there is a thread somewhere...

I will look to see if there is a SMF mod to add a like button.
