Antoninus Pius, Sestertius, Cast147 viewsAt least two of these have been sold as an unidentified Antoninus Pius "brass" coin by eBay seller Kamon8674 from Thailand. Listed as 30mm and 11.3gr. I have had one of these coins in hand, and it has a partial, artificial patina. On my sample, a casting seam was evident on part of the edge.

A gross modern fake in completely wrong style, yet it's surprising nobody was willing to pay the starting price of 1€ (German Ebay, Nov 2005).
