hi everybody! happy new year to all of you! and a lot of nices coins in 2008!!!
I bought a coin for Christmas (to me: from me!!! ;)), and i want your advices,
what do you think, about the price i paid, and about this question: i saw a similar coin on a site, and it was wrote that, this coin is R3...(???).

So, it is a Denarius, from Caracalla,
obv: Antonius pius aug, Rev: Part Max Pont tr P IIII,   201 AD, (Laodicea Mint?)
and i paid for that coin 50$,

thanks to take a  look,
JP

It looks like a nice coin, I would rephotograph though. It's not a rare denarius, as you probably gathered from the Sear price noted by Alwin, i dont know what the dealer was quoting from when he stated "R3."
