Please help me with identification of this silver denier:

AR18/0.8g

O: Crusader Cross in centre inside circle. Legend "A******REX" around
R: Unrecognized figure in iside circle. Legend "*EIERVSAL**".

Hi Explorer

This is a denier of Baldwin III (1143-1163, or possibly Baldwin II and succesors): The X with pellet ends is characteristic, and Metcalf 163-4 seem closest.

Obv. REX BALdVINVS round cross
Rev. dEIERVSALEH round Tower of David
(round backed E's both sides)
