AE 24 mm Provincial coin ?
« on: April 08, 2018, 04:44:32 pm »
Hi everybody,
I'm a 26 years old french guy and I'm taking back my collection of roman coins. I have this one, looking like a provincial coin. Do you have any idea ?
Thank you,
Best regards,

It looks like a Vespasian diobol struck in Alexandria, with Isis on reverse.

Not sure about the date, possibly year 6 (73-74 A.D.), therefore RPC II 2442.

Kind regards

Alberto

I think you're 100% right.
