Superb and extra rare Dupondius of Domitian as Caesar

Hello everyone.

While draped bust was common on Domitian dupondii struck under Vespasian, it became extremely rare under Titus, so this is one of the very few examples.

I think the coin speaks for itself, with its crisp details and its warm Tiber patina, I loved it at first glance.

R.I.C. lists two specimen (no picture given): in Rome collection (unavailable) and in the famous Mazzini collection. I obtained a picture of the later and I think it is from the same obverse die.
