Descrizione:Lato a,raffigura un busto cn una corona in testa legata dietro cn un fiocco e con la seguente scritta intorno :DIVVSAVGVSTVSTATER .
Lato b:vi e raffigurata un acquila cn la testa rivolta verso destra le ali aperte e sembra che sotto i piedi abbia un'ogetto sferico e con le seguenti lettere una a S a sinistra e una C a destra. Io sottoscritto scrivente autorizzo il ricevente della presente all utilizzo incondizionato delle foto

Descrizione sommaria:
D. DIVVS AVGVSVTVS PATER2 in senso orario a partire da sinistra in basso. Testa di Augusto, radiata a sinistra.
R. Aquila3 in piedi di fronte su un globo, con ali aperte, testa girata a destra e in alto. S C a sinistra e a destra nel campo.

Venendo allo specifico della moneta di figura, rilevo che sebbene le sue caratteristiche fisiche non siano difformi da quelle dei conî d'epoca, destano perplessità l'anomalia della leggenda del dritto (v. nota 2) e l'aspetto generale, il rovescio in particolare. In conclusione, pur nei limiti di una valutazione a distanza, effettuata su un'immagine scarsamente dettagliata, non mi sento di esprimere un giudizio favorevole all'autenticità.

Dalla tabella si evince che le caratteristiche fisiche dell'asse di figura comunicate dal lettore (10 g, 26 mm, 12H) sono compatibili con i conî d'epoca.
(2) La  leggenda del dritto è anomala, quella corretta avrebbe dovuto essere DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER. Il riferimento è alla deificazione di Augusto e al suo titolo di Pater Patriae. La corona radiata, mutuata dal culto del dio sole dei regnanti di Siria ed Egitto, entra con questa moneta nella tipologia numismatica romana.
(3) L'aquila è il simbolo dell'immortalità e richiama l'ascensione in cielo dell'anima del defunto deificato.
