VENETO.  On contorniates, with heads of Alexander and Trajan and of the miscellaneous class - DOMNIBVS IN VENETO.  Victorius charioteer in quadriga facing.  The legend DOMNINVS IN VENETO applies to the Victorious  charioteer in the blue faction (Veneta) as the Dominus IN PRASINO was in the green.  The colours of the other factions were white (alba) and red (russata).
