    Plotia, the same (says Eckhel) as Plautia.----In like manner also Claudius and Clodius; Cauponius and Coponius; Faustulus and Fostulus; &c.

    C. PLOTIVS. RVFVS. IIIVIE. A.A.A.F.F. appears on brass coins of Augustus. This perhaps is the Plotius Rufus whom Suetonius states to have conspired against Augustus.
