NOT IN RIC	UNLISTED ISSUE. Specimen similar to TRIER 2 (p. 162 and picture on plate 3) but minted in Thessalonica. Should be listed before THESSALONICA 6.

AV medallion of 1½ solidi. Weight 6.62 g; diameter 22.5 mm. Coin sold on Tkalec Auction May 2009 (lot 204) for CHF 20,000; sold on Naville Numismatics Live Auction 2 (lot 166) in September 2013 for GBP 14,500.
