REVERSE

SECV-RI-TAS-RO-MAE [SECVRITAS ROMAE]; Emperor std. facing, holding sceptre, seemingly carried by two Victories, Victory to l. holding torch; on either side child; child to l. with torch.

[CORRECTION]. RIC cites unique specimen from Paris. Listed in Gnecchi II (no. 1 on p. 138). Note, however, that the description of rev. given by Bruun is largely speculative and is based on a similarly speculative description given by Gnecchi: "Costantino seduto di fronte collo scettro, portato da due donne, che camminano in avanti, accompagnate ciascuna da un bambino, con una fiaccola (?)."
