UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND AND BUST TYPE - M2 l. Neither obv. legend nor bust type M2 l. is attested for this issue (p. 124-125). Listed in Bastien Lyon - supplément I (p. 48, no. 579α).

Note, however, that there is an error in Bastien Lyon - supplément I. This type should have number 577α, not 579α, i.e. should go after 577 (see: Bastien Lyon (294-316), p. 255). Unfortunately, in Bastien Lyon - supplément II (see p. 134) these numbers (577α and 579α) have been assigned to two other types. As a result, in Bastien's numbering there are now two different coins with number 579α. But specimen in question in fact should be listed between number 577 and 577α [Thanks to the collaboration of Tomasz Speier].

Coin should be listed in RIC after LYONS 37.
