CONSTAN-TINOPOLIS [CONSTANTINOPOLIS]; bust l., laur. helmet with plume, wearing imperial cloak, reversed spear.

REVERSE

Victory stg. l. on prow, holding spear in r. hand and resting l. on shield. SMANTI in exergue.

UNLISTED FOR TYPE. RIC lists issue with m.m. pattern SMANTA only for Constantine I (p. 693). Coin should be listed after ANTIOCH 85.

NOTES

Weight 2.37 g; diameter 18 mm. Coin sold on Pecunem (Gitbud & Naumann) 36 (lot 785) in October 2015 for EUR 40.
