REVERSE

PRINCI-P-IIVVENTVT [PRINCIPI IVVENTVT]; prince stg. l., in military dress, r. holding ensign, l. leaning on sceptre. PR in exergue.

REVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to ROMA 149 (BM 1864,1128.173, 5.05 g) except for prince holding one ensign instead of stg. between two ensigns. See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 369.

Note that so far three different rev. legend breaks are attested: I-P-I, I-PI-I-V and I-I, which could make in RIC three separate entries (cf. RIC VI TREVERI 802 and 807 or SISCIA 61 and SISCIA 62).

Listed in Depeyrot (p. 86, no. 14/10). Listed in Drost (p. 299, no. 20) as corrected ROMA 149 (listed on p. 299, no. 22). Coin should be listed in RIC after ROMA 149.
