Edward Allen Sydenham

Edward A. Sydenham was the author of several books on ancient Roman coinage which are still regarded as standard reference works. His father, Joseph, founded Reading Football Club; and it is possibly (though as yet unverified) that Joseph's grandfather, also Joseph, was killed in a duel in Madras.
