Coin Type: Copper AE15 of Septimius Severus, 193-211 CE Mint and Date: Nikopolis ad Istrum in Lower Moesia. Size and Weight: 14mm x 15mm, 2.59g Obverse: AV KAI CE • CEVHPOC Laureate head right. Reverse: NIKOΠOΛ ΠPOC ICT Hestia (?) or Demeter, robed and veiled, standing left, phiale held out in right hand, tall torch (made up of rolled bark and pine needles) grasped at the top in left hand behind. Provenance: antiquarica (eBay), October 2009.
