Obverse: Head of Athena left, wearing crested Athenian helmet decorated with a griffin.
Reverse: Athena standing left holding Nike bearing a trophy, spear behind her left arm, left hand holding the top of a shield resting on the ground.
Legend: PHΓINΩN to right.
Field Marks: Π at bottom left (demonination mark). Thunderbolt in left field, not visible on this specimen.
