Coin Type: Holed bronze AE19 of Commodus, Caesar 175-176 CE, Augustus 177-192 CE Mint and Date: Gerasa in the Decapolis, 177-192 CE Size and Weight: 17mm x 19mm, 5.02g Obverse: AYT K Λ AYP KOM Laureate bust right wearing cuirass and paludamentum. Reverse: ANTΩ ΠP XP TΩ ΠP Γ Tyche, turreted, seated left on rock, upper part of body and head right, holding ears of barley in each hand, and resting foot on swimming river-god. Note 2: The reverse legend probably expands to ANT(IOXEΩN) ΠP(OΣ) XP(YΣOPPOA) TΩ(N) ΠP(OTEPON) Γ(EPAΣHNΩN), i.e. "of the Antiochians on the Chrysorhoas formerly known as Gerasenes".
