Mint and Date: Amastris, 109-89 BCE
Size and Weight: 27mm, 19.26g
Obverse: Head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested helmet decorated with Pegasus.
Reverse: Perseus standing facing, holding harpa and the head of Medusa. Body of Medusa would be lying to right behind, but is not visible on this example.
AMAΣ - TPEO(N) across the centre, monograms below to left and right.
