IMPerator
CAESAR

AVGustus.
Si
noterà
come
il
titolo
di
"imperator",
indicativo
del
comando
militare,
sia
utilizzato come praenomen da tutti
i sovrani della famiglia flavia. Il titolo dinastico di Caesar viene
dai
Flavi mutuato dalla famiglia Giulio-Claudia. Una breve sintesi storica
di Vespasiano viene tracciata nel sito: http://www.cgb.fr/monnaies/vso/v19/gb/monnaiesgb58e1.html?depart=196&nbfic=2014.

La
Pace
è
riconoscibile
dai
suoi
attributi,
il
ramo
d'ulivo,
simbolo

della
pace
e
il cadùceo (o caducèo), che
simboleggia la prosperità commerciale. Si ricorderà che
il
cadùceo era l'attributo degli araldi e di Mercurio in quanto
messo
di Giove; esso era formato da un'asta che portava due serpenti
simmetricamente
attorcigliati e due ali aperte sulla sommità. |
