Comment: | This is a lifetime issue. There were two posthumous issues which featured a ‘globule’ on the armor at the elbow instead, and are differentiated by the width of the shield on the reverse – the latter of which is much more narrow. These were issued by Leopold’s widow, Claudia von Medici, and their son Ferdinand Karl c. 1635 and later. |

He was buried in the Jesuit Church, Innsbruck, Tirol, Austria. He was a member of the Habsburg family. Several Archdukes may have ruled at any one time. The title of Duke of Burgundy was by then meaningless. The title "Comes" translates as "Prince" of Tirol. |
